This journey comes to an end. Let new doors open...
![]() Many hats have been on this head in my professional lifetime: ESL Instructor, Media Lab Technician, Digital Film Teacher, Grade 2 & 5 Student Teacher, Technology Integration Specialist, Director of Technology and Innovation and now Learning Technology Coach in Alberta! Not surprisingly, my most challenging role to date has been UOIT Grad Student. As a dedicated life-long learner, being part of the Master of Education and Digital Technologies program has been a great privilege. Wow, how far I have come in the last 3 years! While I'm at the end of this journey, the doors of future exploration are in front of me.
A big thank you to my professors for guiding me, nurturing me, and always pushing me towards my full potential: Dr. Lorayne Robertson (Research Methods in Education, Staff Development & Supervision) Dr. Bill Hunter (Principles of Learning) Dr. Allyson Eamer (Computer-assisted Learning, Social & Cultural Context of Education) Dr. Roland van Oostveen (Learning with Technology) Dr. Wendy Barber (Authentic Assessment) Dr. Janette Hughes (Digital Literacies: Theory, Practice, and Research, Leadership and Technology) Dr. Laura Pinto (Leadership and Technology) Dr. Daphne Heywood (MEd Graduate Portfolio) A special thank you to Dr. Robin Kay for his tireless advancement of the program and Susan Snelling for answering my many questions with patience! I dedicate this portfolio to all the UOIT Master of Education students who traveled with me on this journey. You have been my inspiration. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields. Until we meet again, Warren Griffiths July 2015 |
*I included my Twitter feed to this portfolio landing page as it contains many tweets that were directly influenced by my coursework at UOIT.
